What is Glucagen Injection?

Glucagen 1 mg Prefilled Syringe is a polypeptide hormone which is used in the treatment of conditions like low blood glucose to increase the concentration of glucose in the blood.

What is Glucagen Injection used for?

Tell your doctor if you have ever had:

any tumor of the pancreas;
you have not recently eaten on a regular basis; or
you have chronic low blood sugar.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine.

Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice.

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have ever taken following medicines:

Warfarin
Indomethacin

It is administered to you by a doctor or nurse
You will always receive this injection by infusion into one of your veins
Kindly do not self administer

Protect from excess heat and light
Keep this medicine out of reach of children
Store at a room temperature of 15-25°C
Do not use the medicine after expiry date
