What is MUROCIN-B PLUS Cream?

  • It contain mupirocin 2% and betamethasone dipropionate 0.05%.

What  MUROCIN-B PLUS Cream is used for?

  • This medication is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash)..

Talk to your doctor before using this medicine, if you:

  • are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance Mirocin b plus or any of the other ingredients
  • If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

  •  It doesn’t have any effect while driving or using machines
  • Tell your healthcare provider if you are using any other topical preparations such as cream, ointment, gel
  • Always use this medicine exactly as told by your doctor
  • only for external use
  • Wash your hands before and after using this medication topical unless you are using the medication to treat the skin on your hands
  • Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin. It may cause minor burning, stinging or irritation when applied. Inform your doctor if this does not go away. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose or mouth

 Major Side Effects are,

  • Burning, itching, irritation, or dryness at the application site may occur when this medication is first applied to the skin. ...
  • Tell your doctor promptly if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: stretch marks, skin thinning/discoloration, acne, extreme/unwanted hair growth, "hair bumps" (folliculitis).
  • Betamethasone + Mupirocin is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Mupirocin which treat skin infections. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Mupirocin is an antibiotic
  • Protect from excess heat and light
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
